BVS Doctors Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16987192), acts as the data controller for personal data processed through openbvs.com.

This policy explains what personal data is handled when you visit this website or write to us, why, and what rights you have.

We do not run accounts, sign-in, forms, analytics or advertising on this website. The only personal data we receive directly is what you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and the content of your message when you write to hello@openbvs.com.

Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the website and keep it secure, such as your IP address and request logs. The website's fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Please do not send health information or medical documents to this address.

03Lawful Basis and Use

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and securing the website, and, when you write to us, to respond to your message at your request.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

04Sharing, Transfers, and Retention

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run the website and receive email: Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding) and Google (the mailbox that receives forwarded email, and the fonts service mentioned above).

Where this involves transfers outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer. We keep emails only as long as needed to reply and for reasonable record-keeping.
